In this episode Daniel talks to El Paso native Sergio Troncoso about his latest novel, Nobody’s Pilgrim. It’s an action adventure story about three teenagers running away from something, abusive family, small oppressive towns, or just away from their hard lives and towards their dreams. They talk about how the idea came about, how Troncoso inadvertently predicted the pandemic, and they touch on questions of love, belonging, and how the Latinx people in the US have and should spread themselves across the country and claim home wherever they desire.
