Jackie Barragan is a multidisciplinary Border artist, community advocate and practitioner of her indigenous healing traditions.  She graduated from UTEP with a Bachelor’s in Anthropology and a Minor in Dance. She focused her studies on grassroots activism and studied extensively with the Zapatistas in Mexico.”
